Let f(x)=5x2-x1/3 and g(x)=4x1/3. perform the indicated operation and state the domain.?

can you show me step by step how to do this type of problem:

f( x)+g(x)

Let f(x)=5x2-x1/3 and g(x)=4x1/3. perform the indicated operation and state the domain.?classical music

In this case, just add the two together.

f(x) + g(x)= (5x2-x1/3) + (4x1/3)

Now simplify.

Problem is I don't know what you mean by x1/3.

Is that x * 1/3 = x/3?

Or is x^(1/3) = cube root of x? I think this is it.

f(x)+g(x)= (5x^2-x^(1/3)) + (4x^(1/3))

f(x)+g(x)= 5x^2 + 3x^(1/3)
